Munster Chess Union
A number of nominations and motions were submitted which after due consideration by the MCU Committee have been ruled invalid. These are listed below for the information of members.
Chairman:
Keith O'Rahilly; Proposed By: Andrew Ingram, Seconded By: Bernd Thee.
Keith O'Rahilly is ICU Registered to Newcastle West. As Newcastlewest is not an affiliated MCU Club then Mr. O'Rahilly is not eligible for MCU membership.
Mr. O'Rahilly is identified as an MJCC committee member on John Alfred's Munster Chess website. Membership of another chess organisation claiming to represent Munster Chess is incompatible with supporting the objects of the MCU.
Treasurer:
Ryan Fitzgerald; Proposed By: Keith O'Rahilly, Seconded By: Mikhail Ramendik.
Ryan Fitzgerald is ICU Registered to St. Michaels. St. Michaels did not subscribe to the MCU in the 2015 - 2016 season. So Mr. Fitzgerald is not eligible for MCU membership.
Mr. Fitzgerald is also identified as an MJCC committee member on John Alfred's website. Finally he is not proposed by an MCU member.

Bernd Thee; Proposed By: Keith O'Rahilly, Seconded By: Ryan Fitzgerald.
Since the proposer and seconder are not MCU members this nomination is not valid.
